Mr. MacDonald has worked in real estate and finance for over ten years. His professional experience includes direct and indirect real estate private equity investment, LBO underwriting and asset management, and corporate financial planning and analysis.

As Director of Acquisitions at Liquid Realty Partners, Mr. MacDonald’s responsibilities included leading the underwriting and execution of new transactions and hiring, training and managing the firm’s five-person acquisitions team. Prior to joining Liquid Realty, Mr. MacDonald served in real estate acquisition roles at both Babcock & Brown and GE Capital’s North American Equity Partners Group. Prior to attending business school, Mr. MacDonald underwrote and asset managed LBO financing in GE Capital’s Sponsor Finance Group and graduated with national honors from GE’s two-year Financial Management Program.

Mr. MacDonald holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School, where he was recognized with First Year Honors, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics with minors in Business and French from Indiana University. Mr. MacDonald has been a member of ULI, a Junior Achievement instructor and a volunteer consultant for the Needham school district in Massachusetts.
